DEVELOP at UGA closeout ceremony
In the summer of 2013, UGA became the newest NASA DEVELOP node. Under the umbrella of NASA’s Applied Sciences’ Capacity Building Program, DEVELOP projects show how data collected from NASA’s Earth observing sensors can be applied in predicting, monitoring, or mitigating environmental issues. There were 30 DEVELOP projects worldwide for the summer term and UGA was involved in four of them.
On August 9, 2013, DEVELOP at UGA had a closeout ceremony showcasing the results of the projects. The closeout coincided with DEVELOP’s participation in a Virtual Poster Session hosted by Earthzine. Here are the links to the DEVELOP-UGA projects:
