CGR receives grant from the Wormsloe Foundation

lidar Isle of HopeThe Center for Geospatial Research was awarded a grant by the Wormsloe Foundation to conduct research at the Isle of Hope in the Georgia coast.

The work will be a collaboration between CGR and Georgia Southern University and will involve the use of terrestrial laser scanning (TLS) and aerial images to investigate potential upland rice cultivation at the Wormsloe State Historic Site. Ph.D. student Alessandro Pasqua is leading the project at CGR.
