Trout Stream Mapping ProjectsThe Georgia Department of Natural
Resources, Fisheries Section, and the CRMS have cooperated over the last six years to
develop GIS databases, maps and custom applications for use in fisheries management. One major project was the
development of a trout stream map and GIS database. The map was published un
two editions and has been distributed to
over 100,000 anglers. Uunfortunately, the maps are now out-of-print. The maps,
however, are currently available on a county-by-county basis via the
internet.
